ATTIKAT W.L.L. is established in the State of Qatar since 2013 and its headquarters are situated in Doha. The company’s activities throughout its history cover all fields of major infrastructure projects, both in public and private sector, which resulted in accumulating significant experience especially in earthworks services, road construction, bridges, tunnels, ports and buildings. The company, during its ten years operating in Qatar, has participated in some of the country’s biggest public projects along with renowned companies such as Vinci, Tekfen, Daewoo, Dogus, Man Enterprise, G.E.T., CRCC, QPMC, Bin Omran, and recently has been awarded with the project RIW IN WESTERN AREA (2021) directly from the Public Works Authority, ASHGHAL.

The successful completion of the projects has been certified by the end clients with completion and appreciation certificates. Furthermore, ATTIKAT has received from the Public Works Authority, ASHGHAL, a certificate of achievement for successfully completing one year ahead of schedule of the scope of works on the Al Khor Expressway Road, one of the biggest projects undertaken by the company so far in the Country.

ATTIKAT has been classified by the Ministry of Finance as Grade A Contractor for road works and roads maintenance, it is also registered under the System for Award management (SAM) of the U.S. Government and is currently employing more than four hundred personnel, all of which are highly trained, certified and experienced in their individual fields of work. One of the company’s competitive advantages is the continuous investment in its technical equipment, with over two hundred units of heavy equipment under its ownership. Furthermore, ATTIKAT has achieved an In Country Value Certificate score of 34,64% which is one of the highest scores among Engineering and Construction companies as per the scoreboard of ICV certification authority (TAWTEEN).

ISO STANDARDS

The company was audited in September of 2017 and acquired the ISO 9001 “Quality Management”, ISO 14001 “Environmental Management System” and ISO 18001 “Occupational Health and Safety”, and in September of 2020 the company was reassessed and audited successfully for the ISO Certification. The ISO 18001 was upgraded to ISO 45001.

BACKGROUND HISTORY

ATTI-KAT W.L.L.’s expertise derives from its experience in public and private sector projects in Greece since 1980. ATTI-KAT in Greece has participated in all modern major development projects of the country, among which are the participation in the construction of the country’s two most important national highways (“P.A.TH.E”- Patra-Athens- Thessaloniki-Evzoni, which runs the mainland from north to south, and “EGNATIA ODOS” in the north), as well as railway projects for the Hellenic Railways Organisation (“O.S.E”).

The company has successfully completed projects related to the execution of the Athens Olympic Games (Olympic Village-Part C, Olympic Sailing Centre) achieving all goals of time planning and quality control. The company has also participated in B.O.T. projects, the most important of which is the ATTIKI ODOS highway, a pioneer project for Greece, which gave the company significant experience and confidence to assert participation in similar future projects.
